The Rising Concerns of Grey Zone Space Wars

The borderless nature of the space domain, the dual use of space technology and the distance from the Earth make it susceptible to grey zone threats. The growing collaboration between governments and commercial space actors has blurred the distinction between commercial and national space capabilities, thereby resulting in ambiguity and grey zone warfare. Space-based grey zone operations are often used to mask the aggressive acts behind commercial activities while exploiting the resulting confusion and plausibility.

This session will bring the global defence leaders from the government, military, and commercial industry to discuss the strategies for responding to the grey zone threats in space and navigating through the complexities. More importantly, should the commercial companies be involved and what are the implications if they get involved?
